This book is very different than the Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles or the Epistles. It begins by identifying the writer, his source and the purpose of the book.
The Apostle John wrote at God’s direction to inform Christians of things to come that would affect them. No doubt these early Christians knew and understood his imagery.
All Christians for all ages are encouraged to read the book.
