LETTERS THE TO CORINTHIANS

Paul established the church in Corinth on his second missionary journey. The Jews became abusive as they did in many places so Paul went next door and taught the Gospel to the Gentiles.

Paul stayed in Corinth one and one-half years because God told him there were many people there with open minds. However, as a trading and seaport city Corinth was a very corrupt city.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians twice with the first letter being written in response to some questions they had raised.
